Move your music from Engine DJ to Traktor using MIXO:BRIDGE.
Engine DJ doesn't support exporting cue points or beatgrid information. Please see how to backup your library before you export from MIXO here.
* NOTE: Traktor sometimes does not display the playlists after importing a new collection. To fix this, simply restart Traktor.
1. Exporting your playlists from Engine DJ
To retrieve your playlists from Engine DJ, use the following steps:
- Open Engine DJ and open the Crates or Playlists tab
- Right-click on the Crates/Playlists
- Select export from the menu
- Choose where to export your Crates/Playlists
You will need to follow these steps for each Crate/Playlist you want to import to MIXO
2. Importing your Engine DJ playlists to MIXO
To import your playlists or entire collection from Engine DJ go to
- IMPORT > ENGINE DJ
- Click Change File to select the Crates/Playlists you exported from Engine DJ
- Click IMPORT ENGINE DJ
MIXO currently only supports importing 1 playlist at a time for Engine DJ
3. Exporting your collection & playlists from MIXO
Exporting music is a MIXO:GOLD feature. If you're not already a GOLD user, you'll automatically start a free 7 day GOLD trial.
To now export playlists or entire collections from MIXO to Traktor:
- EXPORT > TRAKTOR
- Below you will need to confirm which playlists should be exported or if the whole library should be exported
- Click EXPORT
4. Import your NML file into Traktor
To import the .nml file you exported from MIXO into Traktor, please follow these steps:
- Open Traktor and right-click Track Collection in the tree view
- Select Import another Collection from the menu
- Select the .nml you exported from MIXO. By default this is in Music > MIXO > Exports > TRAKTOR
- YOU MAY NEED TO RESTART TRAKTOR TO SEE THE PLAYLISTS!
Make sure you back up your Traktor collection before importing from MIXO
