We are still working on improving the ability for MIXO to import large folder structures and it's on our roadmap and you will absolutely be able to do this in the future:

https://support.mixo.dj/t/import-subfolders-as-playlists

I've subscribed you to this idea so you will be notified of updates.

Also, we have now updated to 0.7.0 so make sure to update, and for now try to import folders one at a time.

Thank you Miles, that sounds great but the Drag & Drop would respect the hierarchy of the folders?

Ex.

Folder_1 -> Folder_2 -> Folder_3 -> music_file.mp3

if I drag & Drop this to MIXO

Folder -> Folder -> Playlist -> music_file.mp3

That would be a game changer for this app.

Also I see there is very difficult to differentiate when a Playlist is inside a Folder (please see the image attached)

for the last, Are you planning to give us the option to enlarge the fonts? are really small and the and the pink font with the dark background makes really hard to read.

Thank You!

A.

Thanks Jon! I'll try creating a playlist with all of my song and import it. I upgraded to rekordbox 6 before install mixo and now can't work with both :(

@Ariel Armandi, think of the MIXO tree view as a playlist viewer rather than a folder browser, it won't mirror the heirarchy of where your music is stored, but instead gives you a way of creating and managing your sets. Your Cloud structure will mirror your local structure though.

Thanks for the feedback on the readibility of the folder structure and fonts, I've added these as ideas and subscribed you so you get updates, great suggestion

@dannysateler - Yes, unfortunately that is the case so we recommend not upgrading if you want to move between software

Thanks @Jon, i read it late :\

I tryed with a large m3u playlist and i'cant. Then i drag and droped some small folders and i found some things: two folders whit the similar quantity of song (diferents subfolders) one was imported and the other no. I gone to the no imported folder and try to import one by one each song and one of them was impossible to import. After that, i removed that song from the folder and now the folder was imported.

I attached the song, maybe you can analyzed it and try to found something. The status of "Import and Analyse" is "Waiting"

PS: i don't know if you haver any thread whit this issue.

PS: if i found more song with the same problem i will send you

I have raised this as an idea as I was able to replicate it

https://support.mixo.dj/t/issue-importing-some-mp3s

To help us find the issue could you please turn on logs:

https://support.mixo.dj/guide/how-to-turn-on-logs

Try importing again and then go to Music > MIXO > Logs and send us the files there

Closing this ticket as so much has changed with the app since it was raised. We are currently on version 0.24.

However, if any of the issues mentioned here resurface, let us know and we can look at this again.

Thanks,

Jon
