Could you add a simple local network drive or network path as a cloud storage, please?

This is something that we are considering for the future:

MEGA. I heard a interview with DJ Keo and he mentioned it. I just wanna say that I trust mega. I had my music on there for like 8 years already. It very solid and safe. https://mega.io/

I am so excited about this software. I am from a web dev background too. I had this same idea about app like this, I bet you guys use electron. I also wanted to have "Ideas" area where people could vote on things they want.

So cool. Thank you.

Hi! Just started using this app and whoa! More cloud storage options would do wonders.

My requests are iCloud and maybe a bit of a controversial one in current world, but still -- Yandex Disk. The latter is dirt cheap and offers more space for less money than Google does, but yeah.

They seem to have API avaliable, and that is what is needed for integration, if I understand the process correctly.

Again -- awesome app/service!

Keep up the good work,

John

Any update on getting the one drive cloud integration?

Hi there,

I really appreciate MIXO and will use Gold after my trial expires. I live in Berlin and would like t have "Strato" integrated, which has a high German secure standard. Til then I will need to upgrade my Google Drive. Thank you in advance.

Keep up the good work.

Looking forward to trying this out, when Onedrive is intergrated

Will definitely be more interested if you integrate with Onedrive

Hi guys,

I'm pleased to announce that MIXO v1.5 is now live with a new desktop to desktop sync feature called "External Hard Drive Sync"!

This feature means you don't need to upload every track and you can plug and play an external hard drive or USB into any computer.

Feedback welcome!

Just a bit more info about this feature:

The setting is found in Settings/Advanced. When on, it skips track upload, thus saving loads of time and cloud storage space.

Artwork is still uploaded but that's fast and small in size.

Once sync is complete, go to your other computer and turn this toggle on, which will force MIXO to only use the original path when playing or exporting tracks.

In theory, this should work for network paths but it's designed for external hard drives and USB storage that can be easily moved between computers, without the need to stream or download.

When this option is on, you can export from the other computer and all the paths should work in DJ software.

Of course, please let me know if you notice any quirks and I'll fix them asap.

Things to note:

1. Mobile streaming is not possible with this feature, because the tracks don't get uploaded.
2. Waveforms are generated when playing the track, then saved for next time.

Enjoy!

Probably not Amazon Drive as Amazon themselves are winding down support for it as they're discontinuing the product. Amazon S3 (or any other S3-compatible) for storage would be greatly appreciated!

Onedrive is really imperative.

It's the most cost effective cloud service as it's bundled with Office 365, so you'll find many will be using it (myself included).

I really it's great to syncing my iTunes library across multiple machines.

If I could do this with Mixo, so that I could create and manage playlists on the go and then export them back into iTunes to all my devices using Onedrive that would be absolutely amazing!!!

I'd greatly appreciate if you add Nextcloud. I then don't have to pay extra to save my music :)!

Would really appreciate onedrive

I'm pleased to announce that MIXO v1.14 is now live, with OneDrive integration!

Please note: streaming is not possible on Android but downloading playlists should be fine.

This is the very first implementation so feedback is welcome!

Is streaming planned for those who use One Drive?

photo

Streaming is possible on desktop and iOS. I don't have a ETA for streaming on Android at the moment but I'll update you once this has been implemented.

Downloading playlists works on Android, so use this option for now.

MIXO v1.78 is just in the process of going live in the Play Store.

This version now supports authenticated streaming from Google Drive, with faster audio load times and compatibility with more file types.

Streaming from OneDrive has been supported on Android since v1.71 - an accidental solution as a result of adapting to OneDrive's new redirects

Really looking for pCloud integration, it seems to be the new kid on the block.

Take a look at Nordlocker, please!

iCloud!! When??

I would love to see StorJ or any other Object Storage like AWS S3.

photo

Please priorise something link sync sync is the cheapest for 1tb or above, icloud is a joke for 8tb prices!

NextCloud

AWS S3-compatible storages

I'd love to see Backblaze become an option. It's among the few services out there that still does unlimited back-ups and cloud storage, which has my subscription 100% in comparison to other services.

photo

Please prioritise plain WEBDAV storage, as this protocol is the industry standart and supported by almost any cloud, self hosted or not.

iCloud please.

I run a TrueNAS Scale home server, would be nice to sync directly to that, but I can always run NextCloud on it if need be, so I would be quite satisfied with NextCloud support.

Hi Chris,

If your music is stored on your TrueNAS home server and only want to use desktop to desktop, it's possible (I'm not 100% sure on this) that you can use this feature to avoid having to upload your tracks:

https://support.mixo.dj/guide/external-hard-drive-sync

Let me know if it's useful to you.

I tested this out, and I can use external-hard-drive-sync with a share from the NAS mounted to two macs! I can play and organize files from both machines, very cool! As it says on the tooltip for the feature however, it doesn't work between different operating systems, as the mount point for the volume will be different, but this is great solution for now!

That is super awesome, thanks for the feedback!
