APPS iOS & Android - connect to the internet to login

Hi

I’m experiencing an issue to login on the apps (both iOS on iPhone and iPad and android latest versions). I get the error: connect to the internet to login. On my MacBook and Windows PCs there are no issues.

I’ve consulted the Support FAQ for debugging: https://support.mixo.dj/guide/mixo-beta-debugging

And did all typical steps: restart, reinstall, connect to other internet connection or 4G.

I am running the latest MIXO version

Attached video of what happens

I get the error: connect to the internet to login

Devices: recent iPhone, iPad Pro, recent Motorola phone. They meet any system requirements needed.

My login details work. I've added this issue also to the open topic https://support.mixo.dj/t/4712-connect-to-the-internet-to-login-warning

Could you guide me through other debugging steps? Happy to go in a short video call if that helps..

Kind regards

Dries

Was going to be my first day testing the mobile app today, but I’ve been experiencing the same thing, both off cellular and on WiFi.

On iOS as well. Latest install and reinstalled

Hi Remko,

Thank you for the fast reply. In the meantime I was able to login on both android and iOS.

Strange is that now I can no longer login on browsers.. I tried on Chrome, Edge, Safari and Brave with cookies removed, the page does not move passed the login screen.

Kind regards,

Dries

Hi Dries,

Strange - we're not seeing any issues there.

Please check your internet connection or the browser console to see if you get any errors ( cmd + alt + i ).

Let me know the result!

Ah you need this link:

https://go.mixodj.com/sso/login

Where did you find that other link?

I've fixed that link as well now anyway.

Let me know if you have any further problems!

Hi Remko

I couldn’t find the way to login on web, so I just googled “ Mixo dj login”.

Do I understand correctly it’s always with local storage and you can’t access the library through a browser?

I could login through the link below and then land on the support page.

Now my final issue is that the app keeps closing itself during playback, doesn’t last even 1 song, both on iOS and on android. Which makes the app currently not usable for me.

Do you know any remediations for this as well?

Kind regards,

Dries

I see yes that's an old login page that's indexed by Google. No worries, it's sorted now.

About mobile - if you play another song from another playlist, it will clear the cache and might resolve the issue.

Please also try downloading a playlist to see if that helps.

Hi Remko,

Unfortunately that didn’t resolve the issue either with the app closing itself. In fact, the following test playlist has been loading to download for the past 5-6 hours or so.

121a78226a8b63b61b88512cc543eed4

Is there a size limit to libraries in MIXO that might cause these issues? I currently have close to 25.000 tracks loaded in there…

Kind regards

Dries

Have you tried turning the toggle off and on or even reinstalling the app?

As for limits, yes but the limit before mobiles start to struggle seems to be around 75,000 tracks, at which point it normally crashes during sync.

Download and playback issues only occur when there are network interruptions or the track was not uploaded.

There's clearly something strange happening where MIXO is unable to stream or download from your cloud storage.

So maybe try the following:

- Reinstall the app.

- Reset Local (Settings/Debug).

- Disconnect and re-connect your cloud storage.

- Then try downloading a playlist.

Test data vs WiFi if you still have issues.

If this works please let me know.
