Hi there,

This only happens when there is no connection, so either it was a temporary issue or perhaps something went wrong during installation?

Please try to re-install MIXO and try again:

Let me know if it works.

I tried that a couple of times and it never gave different results. Is there a limitation to any particular Windows? I'm using Windows 7 on one computer. On another computer where I use Linux, I was able to log in without any problems.

MIXO should work with Windows 7, although it has been a long time since that's been tested due to its age.

Nearly all of our Windows users are on 10/11.

You could try right-clicking the app and click 'Properties' and check the 'Security' tab permissions. Maybe something needs changing there?

Also worth restarting your PC to see if that fixes it!

No matter what I do, there is no change. Is there a version before 1.13 somewhere, I would try it?

Over time and with each update, modern software tends to stop working correctly on older operating systems. This is also the case for MIXO.

I've double-checked and everything works fine on Windows 10, macOS and Linux.

Windows 7 was released around 14 years ago and is no longer maintained and no longer receives security updates from Microsoft.

I think this is most likely the reason it's not working correctly for you.

Hi there,

I've checked the logic and there have been no changes to the app. It relies on external sources for checking internet availability.

It's possible these were temporarily unavailable or they're getting blocked by antivirus software.

Please check/test settings on your antivirus software. Perhaps disable it temporarily just to see if the app works.

You could also right-click and run as administrator, or change the permissions of the app.

Let me know the result!

I managed to connect, the cause of the problem was the firewall blocking certain ports.

Thanks

Hi, I’m experiencing the same issue but only on the apps (both iOS on iPhone and iPad and android latest versions). On my MacBook and Windows PCs no issues. Any idea what steps I can take?
