Unable to play tracks on phone

Hi there. I'm unable to play some of the synced tracks on the phone. It seems to skip some when clicking on them. I've tried clearing the cache and re-loading, but the issue persists.

Hey k-sym,

I'm sorry to hear that, but thanks for the video!

Can you give me a bit more information about the issue?


  • What version of MIXO is on your phone? You can find this in settings. If it is not 0.47(latest) please update through the app store.
  • How long has this been happening?

I would also recommend after doing that, going to SETTINGS > DEBUG > RESET LOCAL, this will sign you out and delete the local database on your phone. After you sign back in it will reconnect with your Google Drive and hopefully the issue should be solved.

Do not hit RESET MIXO as this will remove all of your tracks and you will have to import again. We will only do this if there is a deeper issue happening.

Hi There.

iPhone 12 - iOS 15.4.1 - Mixo v0.47.0

After resetting local, the 'OK' dialog button was presented, but was not clickable. After about 10 seconds the App closed. Re-opened the App, logged out and back in again, Mixo sync'd. Navigated to the playlist and hit the 'download' icon.


After downloading, the issue persists :( Would this be a file issue (bitrate/encoding/format/etc). Or are you telling me my taste in music for a set is unplayable? :P lol.

Hello again.


This has to be file related. I noticed that Mixo would try and play the track, then skip to the one it could. This is evident when using control widgets - please see attached. Mixo flashes up the next track, but then continues to one it can play.

I've managed to replicate this and have made a task for the devs to look into and fix asap!

We have now fixed this issue:

Please make sure to press the download button on each playlist you tried to download from, wait for the downloaded tracks to be removed and then press the button again to make sure all of your tracks are downloaded.
