Music not playing

I'm using rekordbox 6. I've successfully connected to drop box where my music stored. I can see all my music in mixo but it won't play on desktop or mobile. on mobile it says unable to stream. any ideas?

Hi there,


Did you follow the correct procedure for importing, uploading and syncing your library?


If you uploaded your music to Dropbox yourself, MIXO will have no way of knowing which track in Dropbox relates to each track in MIXO.


When you let MIXO upload it saves the Dropbox unique ID and shareLink to the track in MIXO. You can then stream and download it through MIXO on any device.

Well my music is automatically uploaded through rekordbox. When I add a song it automatically moves it to the cloud. How does that effect things

Ah I see so you have Rekordbox Professional ad well?


In MIXO, if you right-click the track list headings and check the box for "FilePath" you'll be able to see if you've imported Rekordbox cloud urls instead of local paths to the tracks on your computer.


If they're local paths and the tracks still exist in your computer they should upload to your Dropbox without issue.


If they're cloud urls it's not going to work. Generally, cloud storage only allows you to upload from your local computer/external hard drive, rather than move the file from one cloud to another.


If you're using Rekordbox Professional, how are you hoping to also use MIXO in your workflow? Or are you looking for an alternative to your current setup?

I should also point out that if you've imported Rekordbox cloud urls, MIXO will not be able to play your tracks. They will be restricted to Rekordbox only.
