VDJ to Mixo to Rekordbox
Solved
So I've been using VJD for quite a while, but am considering moving to Rekordbox. VDJ doesn't do a good job of writing tag into, so found this site that appears to connect the two. This is good!
For the moment, I'm using the FREE version of Rekordbox, and don't see a File>Import VJD field. But am halfway assuming this feature isn't available in the Free version, and if that is the case.... what level of Rekordbox do I need to subscribe to, to unlock this feature? (if anyone here knows...)
Secondly, once I go thru this whole import process, am I correct in assuming the import "sticks" in Rekordbox, and I don't need to use this software on an ongoing basis?
Hello and welcome to MIXO!
All you need to do is import your library from VDJ to MIXO, then export to Rekordbox.
Here's a guide on how to do exactly that:

Good luck! Let me know if you need any help along the way.

Hey there
So your instructions was pretty much exactly what I was doing. I’ve come to understand a bit more about what the program does, which is good. However, I’ve gone thru this process twice and it hangs every time at 98% complete on Analyzing track. I may have been a bit too anxious on the first pass, but this is the 2nd time, and it’s been stuck for over an hour.
Guessing there could be an issue with a particular track/file that MIXO doesn’t t like, but not sure how to figure out what track that is, so I could delete it from the process.
Any suggestions?
Jeffrey

Oh that's strange, there must be an issue.
You could try reloading or restarting MIXO, that should fix it. If not, click Cancel Import.
If you also wanted to upload and sync, you can do this later via the context menu in the track list.
Let me know if reload or restart fixes it.
