Transferring playlists from Rekordbox to Djay Pro 2 MAC
Answered
Hello,
I am trying to transfer my playlists from rekordbox to djay pro 2 on my mac os, however I am confused. I followed the directions from Mixo support https://support.mixo.dj/guide/rekordbox-to-djay-pro , however Djay Pro 2 on OSX does not have the media library settings so I am unclear as to what to do to get my playlists transferred into djay pro. Please advise. Thank you
Hey India,
I'm so sorry for taking so long to answer this, I must have missed it.
You are absolutely right, Djay Pro 2 doesn't have this on Mac only on Windows so I will be updating that guide and others about Djay Pro 2 to reflect that.
I have also created an idea for exporting directly to the database of Djay Pro 2.
https://support.mixo.dj/t/3700-djay-pro-2-export
This is a part of our Auto-Sync plan but I've added it as a separate idea anyway.

Sorry I can't give you a better solution right now, but if you do have access to a Windows device you will be able to do this.
Thanks,
Jon

You’re not alone — transferring playlists from Rekordbox to Djay Pro 2 on macOS can definitely be confusing. One option is to use a dedicated tool like MusConv, which is designed to move playlists between different DJ software without having to tweak media library settings manually. It’ll read your Record box playlists and export them into Djay Pro 2 so you don’t have to rebuild them by hand.
