Updated to Version 0.19.0 but still can't import Traktor Playlists, no matter the size

Hey Guys,

I recently (after giving Mixo a break for while) came back to it to continue testing after it stalled for me by not being able to import my Traktor playlists, regardless of number of tracks in any playlist imported.

It was always the same deal, playlist would import but contain 0 tracks and I would get the standard error of these tracks were not imported and the list every track in the playlist I was trying to import.

I was really hoping that this may have been ironed out by now, to find it still won't import any tracks (locally or on an external USB flash) from my Traktor playlists.

I can import tracks directly but that is not what I am wanting to do, especially as I have everything already setup in Traktor and this has been my workflow for many years.

I am using a MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2015) and I have seen from the forums that these have been problematic during the beta, has this now been addressed?

Any Ideas, as I'd really like to get to use the software as it is intended?

Thanks in advance.

PT

Hey

I've just tested this in version 0.19 and aren't able to replicate the issue you're having.

Can you make sure that you have logs turned on under Settings > General > Tools and try the import again, then send us the log files generated in your Music/MIXO/Logs folder.

This will help us to see what could be causing the import to fail.

Can you please also send us a screenshot of the import error shown in the app?

Hi Olivia,

Tested again this morning with no joy.

I have attached the requested screenshot and logs with the hope you can make sense of what's happening?

Thanks for your support.

Thanks for sending those files and screenshots, that's really helpful.

It looks like you're using Traktor pro 2 is that correct?

We've seen this version of Traktor showing missing files when they're not before, can you also send us the NML file that you are importing?

I can pass that on to the team so we can get a better understanding of what's causing this.

Can you also just double check that those files are working in Traktor as well just to rule out the possibility the file path is incorrect.

Thanks.

I'm using Traktor Pro 3 and can confirm that all tracks in the playlist play as expected in Traktor.

I have tried to attach the NML for you but it tells me it's an incorrect filetype.

Thanks.

OK thanks for checking that, can you try putting the NML in a zip archive and see if that will attach?

If that doesn't work then try using a file transfer service like wetransfer to team@mixo.dj and we can download it from there.

Hi,

It has let me attach a zip file containing the NML file.

Thanks.

Hi,

Any update, I attached the requested zip file as requested in my previous message?

Thanks.

Hey, sorry it looks like my reply didn't come through.

Thanks for sending that file over, are the tracks in the NML file on an external hard drive?

If they are can you try importing in the same way but using tracks on a local hard drive instead?

I've also subscribed you to the idea on our roadmap:

Hi,

That's ok, I have tried with tracks from both an external drive and locally and always get the same result.

Thanks.

I'm able to import playlists from Traktor just fine. I'm running 3.4 and with MacBookPRO 2018. Great software! This is a gamechanger.

Thanks, that’s really helpful, do you also stand around in doctors waiting rooms telling people how well you are? 🤣🤣

Hey,

We've just released V0.20 which should fix the Traktor playlist issue you were having!

Can you test importing your playlists again and let us know how you get on.

If you're still getting the error send any logs over to us and we'll look into it further.
