Hi,

Is it particular tracks? and if so, can you import them into MIXO via Tracks import and see if they work that way?

That will at least narrow it down to a specific NML issue.

If that is the case, can you please send us the track you try this with?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

The issue occurs when import my Traktor nml into Mixo. It seems around 50% of the tracks "cannot be found" although play fine on Traktor (my library is 2.4k songs). Discovered this trying to get round another issue where many of the cue points of my tracks weren't loading across when I imported my library as an iTunes xml, where they worked fine then (but no cue points). Tried reseting Mixo a few times to no avail.

As it is 1000 tracks+ currently not working (all are .mp3 ) not sure how useful sending the track will be.

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex,

iTunes XML doesn't contain any cuepoint data, the only information it carries is track metadata like artist, song title etc. As well as playlists. In order for MIXO to import the cuepoints of a track they need to be imported via Traktor NML, Rekordbox XML etc. as these formats do contain extra information like cuepoints and beatgrids etc.

For the tracks that cannot be found, if there are that many it is likely they all have something in common. For instance:

1. Are they all on a separate drive to the other ones that do import?

2. Drag & Drop one of the tracks in question into the Tracks import, does it still show the error?

Please also try updating Traktor to the latest version and then exporting your collection again. Try importing this into MIXO and see if it works.

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

Thanks for your quick response. My Traktor is all up to date, tried dragging and dropping one of the tracks in question and it appears to be working perfectly fine, so unsure what the issue is. On my previous build of my MIXO library I imported the tracks via iTunes first then added the Traktor file - this worked fine however the cue points weren't imported, so I tried importing Traktor first revealing this issue.

Let me know if there is anything I can share to help!

Best

Could you attach your exported NML file? We'll take a look, see if we can spot anything.

'Track cannot be found' implies an issue with the filepath, but best to check the NML - is all of your music stored on one drive?

Thanks,

Jon

Yes - seems to think there is a file path issue with those tracks. All the files are stored together on one drive also.

Nml attached (p.s. had to zip the file as NML is not supported in this sites file uploader)

Thanks Jon

Thanks for sending that through!

So on our initial comparison of working NML files there's nothing obvious - could you give me the track names of 3 that wouldn't import to MIXO and 3 that did?

Also can you give me your Traktor version and OS version as well.

Sorry for the back and forth but hopefully the above will help narrow it down, appreciate your patience!

Hi Charles,

We're on version 0.24 now and was wondering if you were still having this issue?

Thanks,

Jon
