Really pleased we found a solution to that! I won't bore you with the details but it was a different method I found in the (extensive) Apple developer docs! Great result 👍

This would be great. For some reason whenever I play Mixo through Car Play it comes out on the 'voice recognition' channel, so the sound quality is awful. It's perfectly fine through Bluetooth, but when I need navigation it's a bit of a pain to have CarPlay for maps and seperate Bluetooth audio.

I tried all the solutions in the Reddit post, but nothing worked. I’m in a Toyota Yaris Cross GR. If I connect with Bluetooth, it’s fine. But when I need Car Play for navigation it goes back to playing through the “Voice Recognition” channel, yet the car play view shows the information from MIXO….

The only downside is I can’t have mixo playing via Bluetooth and then use car play for navigation at the same time. Car Play just takes over and pipes it through the voice channel. :-/

Totally understand, since I have the same problem. But it looks like a CarPlay issue, so we'll just have to push forward with the CarPlay app in the hope it will fix the issue.
Will keep you posted on progress!

I have the same problem on my Honda Odyssey, but it's fine on my Toyota Prius.

I've been testing this too and I have the same problem. It's really weird! There doesn't seem to be any control over it.
