Problems with Rekordbox to Djay Pro

Answered

I've imported collection from Rekordbox and then exported to Serato, but Djay Pro can't see Crates, like folder doesn't exist. Tried _Serato_ folder, tried Subcrates folder, nothing happens. Djay Pro 5.2.9

Hi David,

Are your tracks located on the same drive as the Subcrates folder?

If not, you'll need to export to the Subcrates folder on your drive.

I've heard mixed feedback about djay integration with Serato to be honest.

That's why we're currently working on a direct export to djay Pro, which is nearly ready for testing.

I'll add you to the list of beta testers to contact when it's ready!

In the meantime, please check the drive suggestion, or try editing the crates in Serato, like move some tracks around etc to force Serato to rebuild the crates, then check djay Pro again to see if they show up.

Yeah, they are on the same drive. I don't have Serato and don't know how to deal with it, so will be waiting for direct import as nothing worked for me unfortunately

Please backup first as this is a BETA feature. All feedback welcome!

Hi Remko,

just made my first export to DJAY PRO and this session (DJAY PRO DIRECT) works well and fast. Hot cues and keys included. Good job.

Is there also a way to export this playlist to my ipad where i installed DJAY PRO ?

Whoop! Great news and thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately iOS is a different ball game altogether but of course we're looking into it 🤓
