M3U Import results in TypeError: Cannot create property 'filePath' on string

Solved

I am not able to import M3U or M3U8 files anymore, I tried deinstalling the complete Software including the manual deletion of roaming leftovers, but no diffrence.

I am using a windows 11 pro with latest build.
I tested on ACER Desktop with 32 GB RAM and on MS Surface with 16GB RAM. Same on both machines,

FAILED: TypeError: Cannot create property 'filePath' on string 'D:\OneMusik\New-Stuff-Milonga\Milonga de Albornoz (feat. Carlos Moscardini)-fast.wav'

What can i do?

I tried different M3U files with diffrent songs, for example
FAILED: TypeError: Cannot create property 'filePath' on string 'D:\OneMusik\Order_Artist\Lana Del Rey\Once Upon a Dream.mp3'

I also copied the full lib to a new SSD and formatted ist with NTFS and not with exFAT, for more propertie control, but didint make any difference

I've tested a few on my own M3U files and everything seems to be working.

Can you send me your .m3u playlist file please?

For this case, I am using MusicBee (latest version) to create the M3U file.

Ok I see the problem - the playlist file doesn't contain the usual formatting of an M3U.

To solve this (without the need to wait for a release) simply add a line at the top of your M3U with "#EXTM3U".

I've attached your M3U with the fix for reference.

Let me know if that works.

Meanwhile, I've added a fix to allow this type in the future.
