Initial import from Serato

Hello,

I am having issues importing into Mixo. I have been using Serato for over a decade. From when it was Scratchlive. So my database and crate info is quite old. I run a partitioned off drive to hold all my music. So I have a Serato folder on drive “E;” with the music and in “my music” on my c drive. There are old crates on the e drive and new ones on the c drive. All my smart crates are on the c drive. No matter where I point the import folder to I don’t get an option to start the initial import.

Also, does Mixo import the smart crates? Can I make new smart crates in Serato in Mixo?

Thank you in advance!

On a follow up note. I was able to import some of my tracks by pointing to the subcrates folder on my E: (Music) drive. I cannot get any of my smart crates imported.

Hi there,

The smart crates should import as normal playlists if they are in the Smartcrates folder in the same parent folder as the Subcrates folder. It's possible that because your library is so old the structure is different and that's why MIXO can't find them.
