Imported from iTunes, how do I add Serato cue points?
Answered
Hello.
I've imported my music from iTunes/Apple Music (which I am hoping I can finally leave behind by using Mixo) — these files have cue points in Serato, however, none of those cue points are available in Mixo. I tried to import from Serato, but this didn't add cue points.
How can I import the playlists/iibrary I have in iTunes/Apple Music, as well as cue points from Serato?
Thank you.
Hi there,
When importing from iTunes, all the data is in the XML so MIXO does not extract anything from the track tags.
And when you re-import from Serato, the tracks already exist so it skips analysis.
So the solution is to select all your tracks (tick the checkbox at the top of All Tracks), right click and select Re-Analyse Tracks, then select Cue Points. This will import all your cues from the tracks.
