Smart playlist option: NOT in other playlist X

It would be great to have an option when creating a smart playlist to exclude all tracks that exist in another specified playlist.

Example:

I have 2 playlists: house music 2024, house music 2023

I would like to create a playlist: house music (other)
It would contain all house music except tracks that are already in the other playlists

I like this idea

Great idea! We'll certainly look into adding additional filters.

In the meantime, you should be able to achieve what you want by using Year or DateAdded and the "less than" operator.

For example - one of these:

My above example was just to demonstrate an example. A more complex use I have for it is that I break out certain main genres into separate playlists, and would like to catch the rest in an "other genres" playlist.

Ok, good news. We've added a new option "orphanedTrack" to the smart list filters in the upcoming v1.78!

This works similar to the Orphaned Track Tool, but you can add additional filters ;)

Oh yes, there's also another option "Not In Playlist" where you can specify playlist names for a more tailored approach.

This is not case-sensitive but spelling-accurate!
