Hi Jez,

I'd say there's probably more to it! Are your files protected by Apple (M4P) or in a local Dropbox sync folder, or on a drive that isn't connected?

Or are your tracks all Rekordbox cloud paths (eg private to Rekordbox only)?

all my music is on a folder in the iCloud Drive.

looking at the log file, every file is 'not found', so it does look like you never fixed this bug.

This simply means MIXO can't access your music for some reason.

If you copy one of the tracks to your desktop and import from there, does it work?

Can you give me an example filePath for your iCloud tracks in Rekordbox?

I wasn't aware you could even import tracks into Rekordbox from iCloud drive!

the iCloud Drive is like any other drive on the Mac. its treated like a normal folder.

its possibly the best way to store your music on a Mac, as you have it one place, no matter how many computers you use.

that said, I also have rekordbox connected to Dropbox, for backups. but im sure the source music files are coming direct from the iCloud Drive

rekordbox works fine, and has done for almost all of the recent versions.

the path looks like this :

'/Users/jez/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Music/Sept 5th 2024'

you certainly cant use iCloud Drive as your backup drive - seems like dropbox is the only option thats fully supported on rekordbox, and rekordbox mobile - for that, but you can use it as your source drive where all your music is stored, and it imports from there perfectly.

So what happens if you drag a track directly from your iCloud Drive into MIXO,

Does it analyse?

Or if you copy the same track to your desktop and import. Does it analyse from there?

I also wanted to check if the FilePaths in Rekordbox look the same as the FilePaths in MIXO after importing?

how do I check that? where do I see the file paths in rekordbox?

if I look at the exported xml file from rekordbox this is a line that contains a filename... hope this helps

Rating="0" Location="file://localhost/Users/jez/Library/Mobile%20Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Music/July%202023%20Pools%20PN/Crate%20Connect%2016th%20July%202023/Ghostbusterz%20-%20Feel%20The%20Discotheque_PN.mp3"

a track that has been backed up to dropbox, has this instead...

PlayCount="11" Rating="0" Location="file://localhost/Users/jez/Dropbox/rekordbox/contents_4290809979/gummibear,%20savi,%20jae%20mi/unknownalbum/gummibear,%20savi,%20jae%20mi%20-%20not%20coming%20down%20(i.mp3"

I only see one location per track in the xml, so difference with whether its been backed up to dropbox or not.

note, on recent Mac OS's for the last couple of years.. all of the user folders are on iCloud. including Desktop, Downloads, Documents, Music, etc.

that way, if you own more than one Mac, eg, a desktop, and a laptop, you get the same files on all of them automatically.

In Rekordbox you have to add the Location column I think. And in MIXO you right-click the track list headers and add the FilePath column. You can then expand both and compare!

iCloud Drive files, the path is the same for both rekordbox and mixo as far as I can see

Well, I've tested importing a track from iCloud Drive directly into MICXO via drag/drop and then imported the track into Rekordbox and Imported that into MIXO. Both methods worked as normal.

So I'm not sure what the problem is on your device!

If you go to ~/Library/Mobile Documents/iCloud Drive, can you see the "missing" tracks?
