Rekordbox -> Traktor ... Re-analyze ALL tracks in Traktor every time XML imported?

Hi all,

I use Rekordbox to play on Pioneer gear, make USB's.

I want to use Traktor as well, with X1 mk3's for portable setup.

I bought MIXO to keep my Rekordbox library synchronized to Traktor whenever I add new tracks and playlists to Rekordbox.

When I import to MIXO, then Export to Traktor, Traktor erases the beatgrid info and I have to "Re-analyze" 8200 tracks which takes ALL DAY.

Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Can I analyze only new tracks somehow and not re-import ALL the old ones again a second time?

I actually turned on the Analyze lock, and reimported the XML that Mixo spit out (From my rekordbox import) and it wipes even the locked analyzed tracks out making me have to re-scan 5,000 tracks. So strange!

Hi John,

We've added a new export setting (Settings/Advanced) for "Analysis Lock" for Traktor, ready for the next release.

This should prevent Traktor from analysing your tracks.

Thanks for the heads up!

MIXO v1.72 is now live with a new setting for Analysis Lock! This will ensure that you tracks are not analysed by TRAKTOR when you import a MIXO-exported NML

Here's the full list of improvements:

Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you for the update. However, I'm still experiencing the same issue with Traktor losing it's analysis even with locked tracks.

I make changes on a few tracks in Rekordbox, import with native connection into MIXO, then export to Traktor XML and inside Traktor, right click on "Track collection" and select "import other collection", select collection tags, and then it takes some time to import the XML but now all the locked tracks are "unlocked" and waveforms erased.

Is there something I'm doing incorrectly? The lock icons show on the library up until the "import other collection" step is reached.

You should be selecting "Collection" to import from the NML. If you select "File" it reads the track ID3 tags and imports the metadata from the tracks themselves.

Perhaps that's where you're going wrong?

Hi Remko,

I'm definitely clicking "Collection" to import the NML.

Thank you! It look's like the lock value is there and matches. "1".

That all looks good from a MIXO point of view then. No idea why TRAKTOR would still be analysing the tracks?!

Let me know if you discover anything that might help others ;)

Ok please check if your tracks have the LOCK tags in the NML:

I can't see any issues myself.

Still unresolved, but trouble shooting.

I've exported from rekordbox about 20 times, into Mixo, then to Traktor, and haven't found a way yet for it to not analyze 8,000 tracks every time.

Do you see the lock icons in TRAKTOR, as per my screenshot?

i have the same with traktor 3.11.1.17 In Traktor is the lock icon but i have to reanalyzed all my 39k tracks now.

In the stripes folder and transients folder are still the files so they are not gone.
