Moving from Traktor to VirtualDJ - saved loops

Hi,

Appreciate the effort to solve for the complex problem of migrating library content between different software platforms.

I was trying out Mixo to move my Traktor library to Virtual DJ. Cue points are transferred to Virtual DJ but cue points markers that are loops in Traktor, are not represented as saved loops in Virtual DJ. I have lots of saved loops across lots of tracks and I don't want to have to recreate the loops in VIrtual DJ.

Am I missing an option within Mixo itself to make sure they are transferred correctly?

Cheers,

P.

Hi there,

The problem with VDJ is that it saves loop duration as number of beats. All other DJ apps save loops with duration, which makes it difficult to convert.

We're looking into the performance impact of trying to calculate the number of beats for each loop based on its duration, during export to VDJ.

If we find a suitable solution I will let you know!

Good news - we've been working tirelessly on creating algorithms to import and export VDJ loops and it's looking good for the next release!

I'll let you know when it's live.
