Hi there,

It's not possible to sync specific playlists (everything is synced) but we'll look into it for the future. Thanks!

That's would be a great idea for people have a lot of playlists , and a huge music collection (for me it's important), coming from different period of times and with different software ( Serato. Traktor, RekordBox , Itunes ) and different computers also .

And the second thing on the duplicate finder it's possible to make some hardrive, folders, etc .. on read only and a search on the results :-)

Thx for your work

There is a feature on mobile called Select Sync in Settings/Advanced that allows you to select which playlists to sync. This can help performance with very large libraries.

On desktop, you can simply "Cancel Upload" and manually select tracks to upload later by right-clicking the selected tracks and chose "Upload Tracks". This allows you to choose which tracks upload, rather than them all uploading on import.

Please add this to playlists and all is good.

Do you mean so you can easily upload all tracks in a playlist from one click in the context menu (instead of selecting them first)?

This is still inconvinient. There should be settings in the Cloud Sync like in exporting to the DJ-Apps, which playlist to sync to the cloud.

And: my sync takes forever as Mixo is trying to import something as soon as I activate the cloud altthough the cloud is empty. "Import in progress" is just shown endless. But there is nothing to import. And I would want to start the import by button, not automatically. Please handle the cloud upload / download like every other import / export. I think, that would be something.

When you connect your cloud it also activates sync, so MIXO will immediately start syncing the local data to the cloud database.

The default logic is to upload all newly imported tracks automatically, however, you can click Cancel Upload at any time from the progress page and it simply ends that step and moves to sync.

I think what you’re suggesting is a selective sync system on desktop too, whereby tracks are not automatically uploaded and the database is not automatically synced.

This could be done but it’s a tricky one to adopt.

So for now the current tools allow you to cancel uploads during import and manually upload later, which gives you a bit more control.

Unfortunately Cancel Upload doesn't work for me. It doesn't stop syncing but also does nothing (Latest beta). I use OneDrive Business.

Also it shows 50 % more tracks tiu upload than I have.

The full library is always synced, and then only any changes you make. This ensures you always see and can manage the same tracks, playlists and data on all devices.

Cancel Upload only cancels uploading tracks to your cloud storage, which is the slowest stage and may not always be required for every track. That’s when the manual upload option if useful. You could import a 30k track library, cancel upload, then upload a few playlists using the context menu later. This would have hours of upload time and space.

We could create a selective sync from the source computer (similar to selective sync on mobile) but it’s safer to sync everything and control which tracks are uploaded, rather than only sync the data from selected playlists, which would disable the ability to reorganise playlists on other devices etc.

Great! As always, I appreciate the ideas and feedback - keep them coming.

Hopefully we can come up with a more solid solution in the future. :)
