Playlists moved in Rekordbox are duplicated in Mixo
Answered
Hi,
I moved a few playlists in my Rekordbox treeview. I did not modify them : no name change, no content change.
When I import my Rekordbox 6 collection into Mixo, the moved playlists appear duplicated in Mixo : I have to delete the older copy (in the old location).
Is this normal behavior ?
Thanks
Yes that's because MIXO checks for name and parent when checking for duplicates.
In your case you've changed the parent so the duplicate is no longer matched.
There are several solutions to this:
- Make these changes in MIXO instead, and export to your DJ software.
- Or if you reorder/rename playlists/folders in your DJ software, update MIXO first with the same changes before re-importing from your DJ software.
- Or delete all existing playlists and folders in MIXO and re-import them from your DJ software.
