Why do I need a MIXO?
I apologize for the slightly provocative question. But I would like to hear the answer to it.
Why do I need a MIXO? What does it can to organize a library that is not available in other DJ programs or programs for tagging files? Your plan costs 7 bucks a month. And if I need to switch from one DJ platform to another, I will pay this $7 once, do my wok in a couple of days and turn off your service. What other sense does it make for me to be in the MIXO ecosystem? I don't quite understand the value of your product.
I don't want to offend you in any way. But I would like to find out. Moreover, you do not have key detection, auto cues, there may be other interesting functions for DJs that they could use in their software. There are no integrations with external databases, filling out covers from the Internet, metadata from spotify, and much more.
Or am I wrong about something? Correct it. Thank you. I hope for a dialogue.
Hi there,
Great question!
Many people do use MIXO simply to go from A to B and the job's done but most active users prefer the interface, need the useful tools and need to export frequently, rather than a one off.
One of the main features is the sync aspect, which allows you to manage the same DJ library across multiple devices. You can build playlists (and smart playlists) on your phone and sync them back to your computer. Sync is particularly useful if you have a desktop computer and a portable laptop, allowing you to keep things organised, whilst having the ability to also export to your preferred DJ app any time you like.
Rest assured, there are plenty of new desktop features coming for users like yourself... cloud metadata/artwork lookup tools, Spotify/Tidal/Beatport integration, key finder etc.
Feel free to subscribe to any of the ideas or make some of your own for us to consider!
All the best,
