Traktor Waveform gone
check this: Hi, i have a big collection wit 40.000 files. I did this and its not working i hope u can help what i do wrong.
Windows 10 all updates
Traktor Pro 3.11.0
40.000 tracks in diffrend folders
I imported in Mixio
I scanned all files (takes a lot of time :)
I did a duplicate scan. (Found 1100 tracks)
25 duplicated i fixed with Mixio as a test.
Export the Mixio NML file.
Open traktor.
Cleared the whole collection in Traktor.
Restart Traktor.
Imported the NML file.
Restart Traktor.
Did a consistency scan.
Scan found 40.000 tracks that have to be analyzed.
I can not relocate.
All playlist are there but all wavefiles are not there.
The transient map and stripes map are in my Native Instruments folder, so they are not gone.
I was not so happy, so i did cleared the Traktor libarary again and imported the original (backup) NML file and after that everyting was there in the old situation.
I was wondering what did i do wrong? I did a test with Mixio to make a new playlist and exported that was working but the wave files are not there. It seems like the connection with tracks and waveforms are not working.
I hope u have anough info, other wise ask me.
Greets from the Netherlands.
Love the duplicate function so....When i delete a track it writes/repairs the playist where that file was connected with.
Hi there,
I think this is because the original NML backup contains unique IDs that link the track to the waveform.
MIXO does not import these unique IDs, because they are very long (344 characters) and are not required in MIXO or any other app.
Unfortunately, for your particular workflow it means the waveforms are lost when you export then import again.
I hope this info helps.

Oke, so i want to use Mixio to fix my libarary. The duplicate function is awesome, i can see what duplicate tracks i have on my HDD and the number of that track in plalists. But it os not working for me. Oke i do it by hand. Thats a lot of work hahahahah. Thanx for the reply.
Maybe in Traktor 4 there is a function for better libarary management.
