Hello,

Every time MIXO is updated to a new version, it redownloads my entire local music library. I just wanted to give yall a heads-up, because its happened twice over the past week. Thank you for all you do!

I'm pleased to announce that MIXO v1.60 is now live with a heap of new features, fixes and improvements!

We've also migrated all our users to a new super fast cloud database, so you'll need to update to MIXO v1.60 and reset your password to continue:

Any problems let me know!

Hi John,

Thanks for the heads up! Do you mean it re-downloads tracks on a secondary computer? Or deletes the library then re-syncs?

Have you done anything else like re-import from your DJ software?

Thanks,

Hello Remko,

I simply updated to latest software version, and then saw that my entire mixo library was deleted. Mixo initiated the redownload process after the fact, but its the second update that caused this. I verified the same thing also happened on my laptop. So both my primary and secondary libraries deleted, then redownloaded after the update.

That certainly shouldn't happen!

Doesn't show "Syncing..." in the track list area? It's possible that everything is still there but it's just doing a full check with the cloud.

You should still be able to see your playlists and track count though.

If that's not the case we'll investigate but I'm not sure how that can happen.

Let me know either way. Thanks!

I had to force sync on both devices for it to realize the local music folder was empty (inside my music -> mixo -> music directory). So the local library was deleted for sure each time. It had to redownload after each update. So yes, the local folder was empty.

Ahh so downloaded music is somehow deleted on second devices. Understood. We'll look into it.

Out of curiosity, do you have individually downloaded playlists or did you turn on the toggle for Download All in Settings/Cloud?

Thanks for the info!

MIXO v1.47 is now live with some small improvements that might prevent the re-downloading issue you experienced.

Please let me know how you get on!

Wanted to flag that this happened to me when updating to 1.50. Local library only. I don't have cloud sync enabled.

MIXO 1.5 install caused my list of tracks to show as blank even though it appeared to have entries jsut no artwork or writing or accessibility for any of them. Closing and reopening MIXO brought all my data back.
