Force upload to cloud issue : update tracks after cue analysis with Mixed In Key
Solved
After addes some tracks in Mixo and synched to cloud, I needed to analyse them in Mixed In Key. I try to select those tracks and click on 'Upload tracks'.
On Windows (main library) : Cues are showed correctly in Mixo and Serato.
On Mac (remote library) : Cues are showed in Mixo but not in Serato.
I attach some screen captures of the same track on my Mac and Windows computers.
Hi Patrick,
You don't need to re-upload them in MIXO, you can just re-analyse those tracks and wait for sync to complete.
On your second device you can then export the playlist(s) containing the updated tracks and update ID3 tags (Advanced export options).
Then in Serato you can re-analyse the tracks to see the changes.

By updating ID3 tags, you mean enabling @Overwrite track metadata & cues?
If yes, I tried it, re-analyse tracks in Serato and it don't work.

Yes that's the one.
What file types are the tracks? Perhaps they're not supported by the Overwrite track metadata & cues (M4A for example).
Otherwise it should work! Serato should be closed when you export. You could also try restarting MIXO to make sure the ID3 update worker hadn't crashed silently, then export and update again.
If you have a way of inspecting the ID3 tags outside of MIXO and Serato you could check to see if the changes were actually written to the track. Kid3 on the Mac is useful.
Let me know how you get on!

Hi Patrick,
We've identified the problem - downloaded tracks were not updating because it was trying to find the original filePath instead of the downloaded path.
This has been fixed for the next release.
Thanks again! You're a legend.
