Exporting from Traktor to Rekordbox: Track Loop Cues
Solved
Hi, just new to Mixo and trying it out. Seemed to be working great until I realised that it doesn't export Traktor loop cue that are memorised on a track in Traktor to Rekordbox.
Is this also the case if I upgrade to the paying version?
Thank you in adavnce to anyone that can help!
Hi there,
MIXO will extract the loops from the Traktor NML and save them to Rekordbox XML.
You could have a look inside your Traktor NML and search for a track that you think has loops, then look for the same track inside the exported XML. They should be there.
If not, please let me know.
Meanwhile, here's a useful guide:

I hope this helps!

Hi Remko and thank you so much for getting back to me. Strangely enough when I went back to check this morning, low and behold the Traktor Loop Cues were exported just as you say. Please believe me when I assure you that I had checked several tracks before writing this post in the forum about as I was suprised that they wouldn't be exported as well. So all is well on that front but I do have another question:
- All the Traktor Cue Points and Loop Cue points are appear as Hot Cues. So when I press a Cue point it plays immediately. I found a fix for that online by ticking PREFERENCE --) ADVANCED --) OTHERS --) HOT CUE: During Pause, GATE playback is applied.
However this presents a problem, if I muck up during a set and just want to press a Cue point to bring the track back to it, it'll stop
Furthermore the Loop Cue Points are all set as Hot Cues also, which means they only get activated when I press on them and it jumps straight to them. The way it works in Traktor is that I can activate and de-activate them as the track is playing and when it gets to the loop point it just loops.
So my first question would be:
1) How do I turn the Traktor Cue Points in to Rekorbox Memory Cue Points and how many of those can I have because it seems just one if I do it manualy
2)How do you activate/de-activate Loop Cue Points without the track jumping to it? Is this all available on the actual hardware and just not in Rekordbox?
Thank you for your help in this matter. If you don't know I'll make another general post.

Hello!
Unfortunately I can't offer support on Rekordbox functionality.
However, I can explain how to export hot cues as memory cues - in Export Rekordbox in MIXO, expand "Advanced export options" and turn on "Copy cues to memory cues". This copies them, it does not delete them.
I hope this helps!

There must be something fundamentally wrong with me this last 48hrs. How could I have not seen that!!! Problem solved.
It actually works nicely as they are still down as Hot Cues also so I get the benefit of all Cue Points to be just that or also Hot Cues. Nice.
Now I just have to figure out the Loop Cue Points and how to activate/de-activate those without it jumping straight to them and I'll be mint.
Remko, you've been a star and me a total noob. Moving from one system to another isn't easy. I've been using Traktor for 15+ years and just took my laptop and controller wherever I went but just popping out to a gig with just a couple of USB sticks is becoming the norm. No one wants to see you arrive with a laptop when they have a Pioneer Nexus setup! So thanks a million again. Peace x
