Hey! I bought a new computer just to DJ with. I'm waiting it to arrive so I can start my Gold Plan at Mixo.
All my music library is located on iTunes, but I want to change it to a new location, like a master folder where all my tracks are going to sit.
My question is: is it better to have this master folder on my main Mac or in Dropbox?
My thoughts are: if I relocate my tracks to a master folder in Dropbox, I'll have a backup of everything and I can have the original files in my main computer and in my DJ computer. If I have all the tracks just in my main computer, I'll just have the Mixo backup.
So, which one is better since I'm going to organize all my files in Mixo from now on?
Thanks.

Hey there!
Generally, importing music from Dropbox causes problems with sync.
MIXO needs to upload your tracks individually in order to save a unique ID that links the two together, so you can stream or download on other devices.
So in that respect it's best to have your music stored locally, which can be on your computer or on an external drive, like a portable hard drive or USB.
If you have the capacity, there's no harm in keeping a separate backup in Dropbox I suppose!
