Serato parsing time

Hi everybody,

How long does it take for mixo to parse around 10000 serato tracks without doing waveform analysis? I ask because it stays for hours with the message "Parsing data, please wait ....."
Thanks in advance

Hi there,

It sounds like you're seeing this on the Import Serato page. It should only take seconds, regardless of the number of tracks.

Initially it should display your crates, so you can select which to import.

Please quit MIXO and try again, perhaps something went wrong in the parser.

If the problem persists, please let me know.

Thanks!

Hi, I've already tried several times to restart parsing, but it always stuck with the message "Parsing data, please wait ... ", also tried restarting my computer, I installed mixo 2 days ago, so I think the version is updated. Thanks again

Hi, update, parsing and import from Engine work fine! Parsing from Serato locate in the same SDCard not work! Confused! Thanks again

Ok thanks. It's possible one crate is causing a problem and that's causing the parser to get stuck, which isn't ideal!

I've now made some improvements to prevent the parsing from getting stuck if this happens. This will be in the next release (V1.4) and will hopefully resolve this issue for you.

I'll let you know as soon as this is live.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated!

Thank you Remko,

waiting for V 1.4 ...., you think i try to remove some crates from serato database and retest the parsing?

Great job

You could try that, if there aren't too many! Keep a backup though.

If you find the culprit, please do send it over so I can investigate how to better-handle this situation!

Many thanks!

I'm pleased to announce MIXO v1.4 is now live with some improvements to prevent Serato from hanging on the parse page.
