Hello,

Why are my virtual dj loops not shown in the track display in MIXO, after import?
Is that not a feature yet?

Thanks

Hi there,

VDJ uses a custom method for saving loops. Unlike other software that saves a start time, then either an end time or duration for the loop, VDJ saves number of beats.

Therefore, VDJ loops are not supported at the moment but we hope to support them in the future.

I hope this helps!

Kind of a dealbreaker here. If we can't do loops (or "marker only" cues), that's basically half of my Virtual DJ cues that can't be imported/moved over to other software.

I see them in the cuepoints list though. Is there anything i can do to preprocess the database.xml file for making them supported?

Apologies. Perhaps we do import but don't export. I'll confirm this in the morning.

Meanwhile, where in MIXO do you see them? Do you mean the cue points list in Track Info?

When you play the track there is a cues tab, do they show there?

Are you trying to import from VDJ and export back to VDJ?

Thanks.

I see them only when i hit the Track Info icon (i), i don't seem them at all in the Cues/Memory/Loops/Other.

I eventually want to import from VirtualDj / Export to Engine DJ.

Hello! I can confirm we do import VDJ loops and also export them back to VDJ.

Unfortunately VDJ loops don't show in the player and can't be exported to other software, for the reason I mentioned yesterday.

Sorry about that!
