Hello! The new version import all my iTunes playlists correctly, but the "Date added" column doesn't work. All the dates appear after the XLM import in GMT format and disappear after the Sync Database step. I do a complete reset of MIXO and the result is the same.

Hey Patrick,

I will look into the column data disappearing - for the date added try right-clicking on columns and adding the column for 'Added' - this should have the correct data.

Thanks,

Jon

I also noticed something when MIXO import the iTunes XML file. After adding all the playlists, MIXO say the XML import failed. All my playlists are there, but they are all empty. Before importing, when i can select which playlists i want to add, MIXO show the number of tracks in each playlist correctly.

Which version was this in, was it 0.54 or 0.53?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Patrick, we're still investigating this but so far we're unable to replicate. If possible, perhaps you could send over your XML file? Also, are you re-importing (duplicate) playlists or importing new playlists? Thanks in advance!

I shared an old XML File.

here is a new one up to date ..redacted..

I do a few test and you're right. It's something in my XML file and i find where the problem is approximately.

If i import everything but not the "2008" playlist in "ICEPAT" folder, everything is imported correctly. So it's something in my 2008 playlist, but i don't know what it is exactly. I hope it will help.

Hi Patrick, that XML was very useful! I've discovered the problem was related to files with the format m4p, which were not supported. They should have simply been ignored, so we'll look into improving the logic for other unsupported file types.

I'm pleased to inform you that I've added support for m4p files and this will be in our next release (v0.55).

Please note: artwork and metadata from m4p files are not supported. However, any custom metadata in the XML for those tracks will be imported.

Thanks again for the feedback - we hope the next release will solve your issue. In the meantime, you can just exclude any tracks with m4p suffix (you have 5 in total). Good luck!

Hi Remko, thanks for the update! I find a solution for my poroblem, i think my 2008 playlist was the only one with m4p files, so i imported it in m3u and it worked. So, for me, i can appreciate this amazing tool for the first time! Everything is backed up in the cloud and i can listen to my music at the office and on the road with my phone. I noticed that sound is in mono in the Windows software. I think it have a little mistake here ;) Otherwise, everything work fine! MIXO is a very useful tool and i searched for something like this for a long time!

Hi Patrick, that's great news. Glad to be of help. We'll look into the Windows audio being mono but it's possibly a local setting with your computer.

I have the same problem on home and office computers. When i open other apps like Tidal or MusicBee the audio is in stereo, but not in MIXO.

Hi Patrick, you're absolutely right. I've tested this using a specific stereo test track and can confirm it's now fixed, ready for the next release (v0.55).

Thanks again!
