Virtual DJ to Rekordbox error

Running 0.30.0. Imported .xml from Virtual DJ. Trying to export to Rekordbox . When I click the EXPORT button, it shows FAILED to the right of the button. Reckordbox folder is created in path.

Hi Zeno,

Sorry to hear that, could you try the following:

1. Click 'Reload' in the top right and try again

2. Reinstall from the download page https://www.mixo.dj/download

3. Try creating a playlist with a hundred or so tracks from your library and select only that when you click export

Hi Zeno,


We have still not been able to replicate this exactly. We have since released v0.31 so if you could please try the same on the newest version of MIXO and let me know if it failed or not, that would be great.

Created playlist. Added tracks. Exported to Rekordbox. I get "Export REKORDBOX failed" and folder is created. Error box won't clear, have to click "Reload." Are there any logs or files I can send you?

I was able to replicate it this morning and have created an idea for this bug:

Hello, 
I have the same problem (same error message). Maybe I am misusing the program ?! 
So how does Mixo work? 
I first did an import of VirtualDJ, which seems to have worked (I just have a window showing me duplicate titles that Mixo tells me it won't copy!). 
And then, when I try to "export to Rekordbox", I immediately get the message: "failed"!

Hey Michael,

What version of MIXO are you using? the latest is 0.34.

Try resetting MIXO and reimporting your VDJ database again.

Let me know how you get on.

I forgot to specify ... 
I have installed the latest version of Mixo (0.34) and I have the latest version of VDJ 8.5-64 b6535 and Rekordbox 6.51

Unfortunately I can't replicate the issue.

Definitely try resetting MIXO, this will start you from scratch and may hopefully fix the issue. I would also suggest reinstalling to see if this helps too.

If neither of these help, please send us your VDJ database file.
