Hi Jon,
I have just had a chance to update to 0.24 and try again with the iTunes XML file. Unfortunately, this time, after the import started, it put the empty playlists in the playlist section, then froze for a few seconds, then gave me a message that read along the lines of "Itunes import failed" in the top center of the screen. Before this update, I was able to get the tracks to import fine, they just weren't being imported into the playlists.
I screen recorded what I did so you can see, however your max file limit here was like 16mbs so here is a Google Drive link to the recording: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LEipaCMtPlWhn-eMM29gxPJ1z3KhYxcm/view?usp=sharing
