Import from Rekordbox direct not working since ver. 1.72

Hi,

When I launch a Rekordbox direct import, select the folders I want to import, check the "Do not analyse tracks" checkbox, merely nothing happens. I have a 2 seconds hourglass and that's it !

I tried to delete all my playlists in Mixo, I cleared the local cache on my laptop. Now, if I launch an import, I only get the folders : no more playlists !

I mainly use Mixo as a backup solution for my Rekordbox library. Everything was working quite fine until last version 1.72 (even if I find that Mixo lacks a lot of visual feedback about what it is doing during import process, or the feedback is buggy).

I don't want to reset Mixo locally on my laptop, I've done this far too often ! How can I get back my playlists in Mixo ?

Hi Tsunoo,

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. We've added support for importing intelligent playlists and beatgrids directly from Rekordbox, so maybe something is not working correctly.

If possible, please could you find your master.db (click the folder icon on the import page) and create a zip file (so it's smaller) and send it to me for testing? That will really help.

In the meantime, you should be able to import using the XML method.

I prefer not to use the XML import. It was working fine with the older "Import from Rekordbox 6" option, so I will wait for your feedback...

Works fine for me on Mac and Windows, using your database.

Have you tried quitting and restarting MIXO?

Yes, I tried. I event tried rebooting my PC. Still not working on my side with Windows 11...

I click on "Rekordbox direct" import option, I unselect the "CUE analysis playlist" and the "-Temp" folder, I check the "Do not analyse tracks" option and click on the "Start import" button. The progress tab opens, I see some kind of progress circle during one second and nothing else. On the left side, there are only my folders : no playlists.

Hi Remko,

Still a problem, now with the Android app : library is not updating, even after clearing cache. Perhaps I have to wait for version 1.73 too...

No it's unrelated, there not going to be a mobile release for this version.


You need to first try Force Sync Check in Settings/Cloud or logout and login again.


That should solve it!
