OneDrive - Failed upload

Hi,

I can't seem to upload any tracks to my OneDrive account.

All tracks are part of my iTunes library, which is in the default location on my C drive.

I've emptied my entire OneDrive, so it's just the Mixo folder in there now.

No tracks will upload, everything fails. Any ideas?

I just connected my Dropbox and that is uploading absolutely fine, so it's definitely not my iTunes directory that's the issue here.

I've seen this myself actually. It's random and oneDrive blocks you out. For me it started again after switching networks.

You could try resetting your router, or check that MIXO isn't getting blocked.

Also try restarting MIXO.

Hi Remko. Good to know it's not just me!

I'll do some more testing after playing with my firewall settings and let you know if anything changes.

Completely uninstalled everything. Mixo and OneDrive. Clean installs. Both programs set to Allow on Norton.

Still nothing will upload.

Hey,

So in the logs it says this... "Failed to Upload (wrongFilePath) - name"

Does it say that for every track?

Did it upload the artwork in the end but stall on the tracks?

It has create an Artwork folder of 49mb for 6200+ tracks.

The logs seem to vary depending on whether I ask it to import one tune or multiple tunes.

This is from just now, attempting to upload one tune separately and then one playlist

The failed to Analyse are just some tracks which have the wrong locations from some changes I mate to compilation tunes.

At the end you can see I started trying it with one tune and that gave slightly different logs.

Mixo is definitely recognised within the app manage settings on my Microsoft account, so there's clearly something else which is the issue. I'm not convinced it's anything to do with my internet.?
I also simply can't just reset my router as I have about 25 smart home devices which would need to be re-paired to it.

Google Drive and Dropbox uploads work fine.

This release has a few small improvements to the oneDrive upload logic, so please give it a try and let me know how you get on.

Sorry, no improvements this end.

Artwork and Tracks are failing uploads. Log file attached.

So if you drag and drop a couple of tracks from your computer to All Tracks, do they both fail to upload artwork and tracks?

I may have found a possible cause! I'm investigating now...

MIXO v1.20 is now live with some further oneDrive improvements that might fix the upload hang you were experiencing.

Please let me know your feedback if you happen to test this again.

Thanks!

Hi there,

I just wanted to let you know that MIXO v1.21 is now live with a fix for failed uploads to OneDrive caused by special characters (oneDrive reserved) in filePaths.

https://www.mixo.dj/versions

Hopefully this will reduce the 400 errors you were getting previously!

Hi there,

Failed uploads can occur for a number of reasons, however, the best thing to do is go to Tools -> Actions and click the "Upload Tracks" button.

This will retry those tracks. It's also worth checking the reason in ~/Music/MIXO/Logs/failed.txt.

Good luck!
