Issues with collection.xml import

Hello all, I'm trying to export all my music from Traktor but when I import into MIXO there are many tracks missing. Why is this? Is it an issue with the the tracks that aren't being imported? The nml file itself? I need this sorted asap so would really appreciate a response, thank you

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're having difficulties importing from Traktor.

When you say missing files, do you mean they are imported but MIXO can't find the file so it shows grey?

If possible, please take a screenshot of the missing files in MIXO (showing the full filePath column) and send it in a reply to this email. Double check the path to the file and see if it exists there.

Let me know how you get on!

So I export the collection.nml from Traktor, you can see in the screenshots how many tracks there should be for the selected playlist I am exporting. Even when I first bring it into mixo before pressing the import button it shows the correct number of tracks. Then after I import and see in the playlist section, there's only 4 songs?! I also have this issue with many of the other playlists I try and export

Oh yes, I see. They are actually not imported at all. Strange.

Could you please send me your NML and I'll see what happens when I try to import it?

Thanks in advance!

Ok it looks like a filePath issue. BROKEN//HOUSE/ - for some reason there are double forward slashes here. Is that because your folder is called "BROKEN/" ?

We'll look into trying to fix this asap.

Thanks!

hmm that's weird, the folder is called BROKEN/HOUSE and always has been called that, it's doing the same chill house/broken. Also for a few other playlists but they're only missing a few here and there.

Is there anything I'll need to do on my end?

I see. It thinks they are 2 separate folders.

If you were to remove the '/' in the folder names and re-import those tracks to Traktor, then export a new NML it would resolve the issue. But I appreciate you might not want to do that!

I'll see what we can do.

Yeah I think I'll lose the metadata and cue point info if I reimport

and thank you

What if I change the name of the playlist on Traktor to BROKEN//HOUSE?
