Hi Chris,

Could you explain the issue in a little more detail please?

Did you import a Traktor NML and then export to Serato with the Overwrite ID3 option checked?

What were the file types?

Have you tried importing those files directly into Serato (not via crates)?

Thanks in advance!

thank you for the fast reply...
So... i am importing an NML file from traktor with the 4 tracks...
exporting them in MIXO .. it gives me the crate file... (all.crate)
and when opening serato and accesing... i have question marks an all the 4 files .. the path to them maybe is truncated..
the files are mp3's i can show you via remote desktop if you want

and yes.. i checked the option to overwrite tags!

I played again... ive managed to fix the issue.... my path to the files were not suported... i have the directories with spaces and some simbols... BUT the CUE point were NOT imported!

Hi Chris,

So in the exported crate, the filePaths were not correctly formed with spaces?

Do they show with spaces in the crate, or are the spaces encoded like %20?

so.. my folders are like this:

0130 ░░░░░░ CVENUE HOUSE
0135 ░░░░░░ CVENUE REMIX
0140 ░░░░░░ CVENUE
0285 CVENUE HOUSE
0290 CVENUE REMIX
0295 CVENUE REMIX RETRO
0300 CVENUE ORIG

It may be that the folders are not ok as names for the crates in serato (when MIXO is generating the crate)

if i drag it simply in serato.. the folders are fine

Anyway... my main objective is to get the CUE points from traktor to serato !
wich at this moment they dont work..

of can i export from tratktor to itunes (cue points) ? and serato to import from itunes ?
Mixo can see the cue points from traktor
serato does not see them

Hi Chriss,

Traktor, Rekordbox, VDJ and most others store cues points in the exported file. Serato reads and saves all metadata and cue point in the track ID3 tags.

So to get the Traktor cues to show in Serato you must (first back up those 4 files) then check the box for "Overwrite track metadata & cues" in the Export Serato page. This should write the cues to the file itself.

Then you can re-analyse the file in Serato and they cues should show.

iTunes does not support cue points in the the XML.
