I have MIXO pointed at my database.xml file inside Documents/VirtualDJ/database.xml but the app says the xml is invalid. I just updated to 0.48

Hey ramseylanier,

Currently, it will take a moment for the import page to 'Parse' the file and usually this notice isn't visible for smaller libraries. Do you have quite a large collection of tracks and playlists/folders in VDJ?

If you stay on that import view for a minute it should show the list of playlists available for import. If not, please make sure VDJ is up-to-date, failing that please send me your database.xml file.

Thanks,

Jon

It’s a small library with only two playlists of about 10 songs each I’m using just to test the software out. When I click import from Redbox (which works) and then back to import from Virtual DJ this error goes away and it says “reading playlists…” but it seems like it hangs up because that message never goes away. I’ve let it sit for 30 minutes. I’ll send the database.xml in a bit.

I've attached two dfferent database.xml files, neither of which work.

I should also mention that I'm on the latest version of Virtual DJ, and I've tried MIXO on my PC and a MacbookPro and neither will import.

Hi ramsaylanier,

Jon is still looking into this issue but I thought I would let you know that we've noticed the hang can occur is there is no "Playlists" folder in your VirtualDJ folder. The fix for this will be in the next release (v0.50).

Can you confirm if you have a Playlists folder in ...OneDrive/Documents/VirtualDJ/ ?

Thanks in advance!
