i linked my dropbox account on witch my music was stored... around 150gb, 2800ish songs...

mixo created a folder on my dropbox called : application/mixo-sync...

i now have a dupplicate music folder totalizing more than 300g...

then on mixo, i linked my trakor nml file, wich is also on dropbox, took a lot of time to "sync" and then i see my music but its totally impossible to play anything from the mixo win-app...

just loading forever...

on my android, on "playlist" just loading forever whithout anything appenning...

on the win-app, import/traktor... whatever i doo its always pointing to the wrong folder..., telling me "file not found" i pointed 10 times to the right folder, still the same...

anything i did wrong... ?

from now seem totally useless...

thanks for help...

Hi Patrick,

Sorry you're having some issues, hopefully I can help.

When MIXO connects to your dropbox account, it will create a folder as you mentioned. This is to minimize access to your dropbox account to only this folder. Unfortunately, we don't have a way to connect to your music that has already been uploaded to dropbox so anything that is imported in MIXO will be uploaded to the folder MIXO created. This is likely why you are seeing double the amount of music. Please be aware that resetting MIXO will remove all of the music from this folder.

Does your Traktor collection.nml file link to music that is in a local Dropbox folder on your laptop? Or does it link to files that are on your harddrive elsewhere?

To make sure MIXO is pointing to the correct nml file you can export your collection in Traktor, save it to a folder of your choice, but make sure you untick the option to copy music files to the new location, otherwise the NML file won't have the correct paths to your music. Then you can point IMPORT > TRAKTOR to this file in MIXO.

Also I think it may be helpful to explain a typical use for MIXO.

Music files are stored locally on your harddrive. They are then imported to MIXO via any of the import options, such as Traktor or Rekordbox. When you connect either Dropbox or Google Drive to your account, the files are then uploaded and once sync has completed these will then show on your other devices.

I hope this explanation helps and if you have anymore questions or problems please let me know.

Jon
