Playlists created in Virtual DJ fail to import here a sample of the first 3 tracks data from playlist

#EXTVDJ:11570546The Weeknd<title>Blinding Lights (BPM Supreme Future House Remix) (Clean Extended)</title><songlength>287.263

G:\DJ Audio\PO Top 20\The Weeknd - Blinding Lights (BPM Supreme Future House Remix) (Clean Extended)_pn.mp3

#EXTVDJ:9406481P!nk<title>What About Us (Acapella)</title><songlength>235.070

G:\DJ Audio\Acapella\P!nk - What About Us (Acapella)_pn.mp3

#EXTVDJ:14439796Tiesto<title>Red Lights (Original Mix)</title><remix>Original Mix360.197

G:\DJ Audio\Underground\2013\Tiesto - Red Lights (Original Mix)_pn.mp3

playlists that only contain file paths seem to work fine

It looks like the #EXTVDJ lines are missing some identifiers - for instance <title></title> exists but not , filesize is also not there and songlength doesn't close.

What version of VDJ are you on? Try updating to the latest version and exporting the playlist again then importing into MIXO.

Try also editing the playlist in VSCode for example, to add these back in and see if it works:

#EXTVDJ:9406481P!nk<title>What About Us (Acapella)</title><songlength>235.070

G:\DJ Audio\Acapella\P!nk - What About Us (Acapella)_pn.mp3

Thanks

I blame the code function its removing stuff from the code lol

You are absolutely right! Re-reading my post that's exactly what the 'code-block' has done to mine as well! Sorry about that.

The file doesn't seem to have attached - could you try again? Try zipping the file, that usually does the trick.

Thanks!

Sorry for taking a while to get back to you!

We've been doing some testing and it seems that VDJ has two different types of m3u files. One version of the playlist will exist in Documents > VirtualDJ > Playlists (this is the correctly formatted one as it includes the filepaths) and the other is from exporting a playlist by right-clicking it and saving it. This does not seem to include the filepath as the files are moved to the same folder.

Please could you try importing the playlist via the first method and see if the import works for you.

Thanks,

Jon
