Dropbox <=> MIXO <=> MixedInKey, Rekordbox

Hi,

I am new to MIXO and to be honest to DJing, library management etc.
I am seeking some help and guidance from any of you, before I start organising the library I am building, I already have few thousand tracks to review. I am a tech guy myself, so having a workflow, automation and order is key for me.

What am I after?

I would like to have a cleanly organised library, ideally synced using Dropbox, that is analysed via MixedInKey and 1:1 synced between MixedInKey and Rekordbox.
Is anyone handling those four platforms and has some cool workflow to follow?

Thanks a lot for any help,
Luke

Hi Luke,

My recommendation is to import your music into MIXO and build your playlists there.

Anytime you update tracks in Mixed In key, just re-import them into MIXO (which automatically re-analyse changed files) or re-analyse them directly in MIXO to pull-in the changes.

Connect your Dropbox account and let MIXO upload your tracks, then sync the changes to the cloud. The advantage of using cloud sync is that you can manage your library on any device using MIXO. However, you should always keep your music locally as well, either on your main computer or an external drive.

Whenever you make changes in MIXO, simply export to Rekordbox.
