Why does my Anti-Virus software flag MIXO as unsafe?

MIXO is perfectly safe to install

Anti-virus software is an important tool in making sure you're system is safe from various threats. However, sometimes Avast, Microsoft Defender, Norton and other security software flags a programme as being unsafe to install or denies the user the ability to install as it believes it contains a virus - this is known as a 'false positive'

For more detailed information on what a false positive is, please see this article.

Below are guides to some popular anti-virus programs with steps on how to adjust the settings to allow the installation or whitelisting of MIXO.

Please Note: If you need to deactivate an important feature of your anti-virus software, we highly recommend that you return these settings to their original state after installing MIXO.
